Agreement

By creating an account or using The Overseas Aisle ("the service"), operated by Ian J. Battaglia, Tokyo, Japan, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. You must be at least 18.

The service

A set of online wedding-planning tools (budget, milestone calendar, day-of timeline, guest list, vendor comparison, time-zone meeting finder, proxy checklist with share links, and music and photo lists), plus free guides and a free budget planner. It's designed for couples planning a U.S. wedding from overseas, but anyone planning a wedding may use it.

Free trial and one-time purchase

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full access, no card required. After the trial, creating or editing planning data is locked until you buy. You can always sign in, and you can always download your data.

Lifetime access costs $19 USD, paid once, with no subscription. "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the service. If we ever decide to shut it down, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data. We may change the price for new buyers; it won't change what you've already paid for.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout. If you're not happy, email [email protected] within 30 days of buying and we'll refund you in full. A refund ends your paid access.

Your content

You own what you enter. You give us permission to store and display it back to you (and to anyone you give a share link to) so the service works. We don't use it for anything else.

Proxy share links

Anyone with a share link can view the checklist view described in our Privacy Policy, and update it if you allowed editing. You're responsible for who you give a link to. Revoke a link from the Proxy page at any time.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload or break into the service, or scrape or resell it.
• Don't enter other people's personal data without a legitimate planning reason.
• Don't use the service for anything unlawful.

Not professional advice

Budgets, timelines and guides are general information to help you plan. They are not legal, immigration, tax or financial advice. Marriage-license rules, vendor policies, customs rules and prices vary and change; confirm anything that matters with the relevant authority or vendor.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service reliable but provide it "as is", without warranties, and it may occasionally be unavailable. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
